NAME: Trevor 'Tabby' Callaghan DATE OF BIRTH: April 22nd 1981 AGE: 26 HOME TOWN: Sligo, Ireland FAMILY: Partner - Anna, two children Illan and Aphria BANDS: Petronella, DZ5, Tabby & The Tsars
Tabby Callaghan had a passion for music from the early age of five and has been writing his own material since the age of eight. Having
been in many bands from an early age, he raised his profile in his band Petronella & before the age of eighteen had two singles in the Top 20.
When the band split, Tabby formed another band called DZ5 which he auditioned with for the X Factor in July 2004. The judges didn't think they were good enough as a band but wanted Tabby to come back and audition on his own. He returned and got through to the Under 25's category mentored by Sharon Osbourne. He ended up getting through to the final three and performed live to the nation every Saturday night until he prematurely got kicked out in 3rd place in favour of G4 and Steve Brookstein.
Since X Factor, Tabby has been working non stop regaining credibility by gigging all over the UK and Ireland, he is now signed to D-Rive Records (after being promised a career by Sharon Osbourne, who soon dropped him) & ready to release his brand new single ‘King Of the Town’ on 15th October 2007, followed by his debut album two weeks later!
Prepare to be rocked!
